A TEMPLE ENTRANCE IN SOAP

This is the fifth Soap Sculpture of mine - the other being in four different places: My First piece - Meenkashi, at home; second - Kalki (the one that fetched me a first prize), at my grandfather's house, in our home town, third - The Thinking Man of Rodin, at a friend's place; fourth - Nataraja, at a family friend's house, gifted by mom generously (generous enough to take liberty in gifting my work..!).
The one which you are viewing is the fifth one - belonging to no specific style, neither north indian nor south indian - but just the manifestation of what happens if I'm left alone with a piece of soap and a safety pin, and a bit of creativity and enthusiasm.

I indeed had a model in my mind, but still i didn't manage to get it very right, I mean - identical or exactly belonging to, or fitting into a pattern or style. The details and structures of this piece may not be purely south or north indian, but the point is that I'm trying to learn, read, research and work more on the north indian style of architecture and achieving it.

Have a look at these, and leave your comments.
